Another slow week for our volunteers, but no snow this week. Thursday evening the Department met at Co #1 to have its monthly business meeting. On Friday the 5th at 20:10 an oven fire was reported at a residence on Summit Avenue. Engines 1, 2 & 4, Ladder 1 all responded. The fire was out on arrival and units disconnected the gas from the oven and checked the area for extent ion. No damaged to the home was found..
On Sunday the FD responded to a CO alarm in Tamaron. Engines 1, 2 & 4, Ladder 1 and Wyckoff Rescue 242 all responded. High readings of CO were found due to an faulty oven. WALLVAC also responded to check he residents.
