At 08:01 on Monday the 21st, the FD responded to a CO alarm at a residence on Manhattan Avenue. Rescue 1 & Engine 2 responded. Crews checked the home and notified PSE&G. On Tuesday at 08:18, an AFA from a commercial building on Hewson Avenue was received. All units responded and checked the structure. Workmen were found to have set off the alarm accidentally. Thursday a CO alarm was received from a residence on MacBeth Court. Rescue 1 & Engine 2 responded. Crews checked out the home and notified PSE&G.
Friday at 13:34 an AFA was received from the Learning Experience on Hewson Avenue, as per protocol, an engine was requested from the Allendale FD due to this being a high occupancy structure. Engines 1 & 2, Tower 1 and Rescue 1, as well as Allendale engine 935 all responded. The building had been evacuated on arrival, crews entered and checked the structure with the Thermal Imagining Camera (TIC) and found no reason for the activation.
